I am not a hugger shirt, hoodie and sweatshirt
I always have that feeling something is about to happen, i feel it like its so legit. Not a bad feeling. Its real good one but i have no idea what is it the time i give up of waiting for this mysterious good thing to happen. I am not a hugger. I see the numbers, feels like my guardian angel tells me to keep up goods r almost here for you. That keeps my hopes up n here i am climbing the hill just like a hungry wolf who knows that reaching the top of the hill will fulfille his hunger.
You may have been in a great position of safety, comfort and privilege compared with significant others. You have heard of family, friends and Filipinos back home in the Philippines suffer from great devastation, tragedy, displacement and hunger primarily due to disasters and adversities not of their making. The recent Super Typhoon Haiyan directly impacted a country and its people in enormous magnitude that recovery and rebuilding would take a long time. I am not a hugger. Our Filipino-ness naturally allocates a substantial level of sympathy with those who have suffered or survived. Whether we acknowledge it or not, we have all been directly impacted by this and our social responsibility becomes vivid and real. It also demands practical action.

In a humble gesture, Carlo and I have waived Christmas gift-giving to family and friends. We are diverting any amount to add to our sponsorship of the freight cost of a 40-foot container full of food and medical supplies for delivery to the disaster-affected families in the Visayas provinces of Central Philippines. This is a mere drop to a very gigantic need but it may offer some relief and hope for those rising-up from the ravages of recent calamities in the region. I am not a hugger. Thank you for being a tad bit more generous in sharing with us the giving of this gift. Let your mind and heart be a little bit more Filipino this time.
